Welcome to the first edition of the Making Mini Scrapbooks newsletter. I hope to use this communication to keep in better contact with the visitors of the website – to let you know about what new projects and techniques have been added to the website, and also to share other mini scrapbook info that I’ve come across on the internet in general. There will also be a prize giveaway with each newsletter because I love giving stuff away.
New Projects on Making-Mini-Scrapbooks.com
There is a new project in the beginner’s section of the website on making a mini scrapbook out of one 12 x 12 piece of cardstock. This is a quick and easy project. When completed this mini album has pockets perfect for tags.

Mini Books Miscellaneous
So my list at Amazon continues to grow. I have found three new books that I have to have. I am hoping my husband reads this and gets them for me for my birthday and/or Christmas, which are both fast approaching. I think you would enjoy these also.
This first one caught my eye because we did a postcard swap on our Yahoo! group not too long ago.
Good Mail Day: A Primer for Making Eye-Popping Postal Art
I'm always looking for new techniques, so this one really looks absolutely amazing to me!
The Scrapbook Embellishment Handbook
I'm a huge fabric fan also, so when I saw this book it went immediately onto my wish list.
Fuse It and Be Done: Finish Projects Faster Using Fusible Products
Finally, I saw these two interesting mini scrapbook ideas. The first is a Flip Flop Baby Album (literally). Super cute and unique.

The second one is actually a kit that somebody is selling with a unique design called the double slider album. It’s just so unique I had to share it here. It’s at least worth looking at.
