Ideas to Help You Use Your Scraps

By Debi Devitt

We all have them -- boxes and piles of scraps left over from our scrapbooking projects. I'm always looking for ways to use up my scraps. I will share a few with you here. I would love to hear your ideas too. Please e-mail me your ideas and I'd be happy to share them with everybody.

Faux Buttons

Use your circle punch to punch out a circle. Use your ribbon punch to make the holes. Optional: Thread some embroidery thread or waxed thread through and tie.

Mosaic Borders

Cut 1" squares and then cut those into fours. Use to frame photos, journaling blocks, et cetera.

Inchies

Inchies are quiet popular. In fact, we're having an inchie swap right now on our Yahoo Mini Books Group. Inchies are 1" squares embellished as you might an ATC.
