Recycled Container Books

Recycled container books are so fun because you can make a mini book or journal out of so many different food boxes and other recycled materials. These make unique and interesting books. People will stop and look and say, "Oh, it's a book." I've seen them made out of cereal boxes, macaroni and cheese boxes, etc. Here are just a couple that I created to get your creative juices flowing.

For a small purse type notebook I took an old pudding box. I used the front and back packaging for the fronts and backs of my book. I covered the back sides of these with decorative scapbook paper.

I then cut some recycled papers for my inside pages a bit smaller than my covers and bound it all up with my trusty Bind-It-All.

As soon as I used the last lightbulb in this lightbulb box, I knew it would make a great book.

I loved the little cut-outs and knew I could find something fun to put there. These images are from Art Chix Studios. Again, I just adhered some scrapbook paper to the opposite sdes, cut some recycled papers a bit smaller than my covers, and bound it all up with my Bind-It-All.
