Boot-Mini-Book

To make this boot-mini-book I used the shape template for the boot found at www.victorineoriginals.com. It was actually a template for a card. I printed it as-is on heavy cardstock. I cut it out and then cut it in half right down the center to use as my front and back covers. Cover both sides of both the front and back covers with patterned paper.

Decide how many inside pages you want in your mini book. I used four in mine. Use a coordinating solid cardstock for the inside pages. Trace around your boot shape that you used for the front cover and cut it out. Do this for each inside page.

Line all of your boot pages up and using your Bind-It-All punch your holes. I used the 3/8" size O-Wires on this book. Remember to bring your back cover around and lay it front sides together when placing your O-Wire through. Tighten your O-Wires with your Bind-It-All. Your mini scrapbook is now ready to decorate.

I decided to turn my boot book into a Happy Birthday book to a friend. I had been collecting lots of clip art from the Dover free samples and decided to use a few of those.

I also went through my stash and just looked for things that fit the size and style of mini book I was making.

I'm looking forward to trying other shaped templates in my ongoing quest of making mini scrapbooks!
